Office Services

Blood Pressure and Diabetes Screening is available Monday thru Friday, 8:30 a.m.-4:30 p.m. except during the noon hour.

Child Case Management is for at-risk infants and children who have at-risk medical conditions. Referrals are made by a physician.

Communicable Disease Screening is available, as well as follow-up and referral. Examples are sexually transmitted diseases, hepatitis, tuberculosis, and AIDS.

County Registrar is available to issue copies of Missouri birth and death certificates for a nominal fee, set by the state.

Flu Shots are given during the flu season beginning in October pending availability of vaccine.

Health Education is available for groups and clubs on many different health topics.

Immunizations are available at the Warsaw office Monday thru Friday, 9 am - 4 pm except during the noon hour.  Appointments are not necessary.

Immunizations for children are also available 9-11 a.m. at the WIC clinic held in Cole Camp.

Lead Screening is for children ages 12-24 months for a baseline level. Follow up would be done for any level greater than 10ug/dl.

Lice Screening is also available.

Nutritional Counseling is available with physician's order for individuals who need a specific caloric diet including diabetic diets.

Pneumonia Shots are available during the flu season for adults. A physician's order is required. Children may receive a pneumonia shot anytime throughout the year based upon their physician's recommendation. Only persons with at risk medical conditions need a pneumonia shot.

Pregnancy Testing is available with no appointment necessary. In order to obtain a pregnancy test the individual must be two weeks late for their menstrual cycle.

Prenatal Case Management services for at-risk pregnant women to assist in obtaining adequate prenatal care thru education, managing appointments and/or referral to other resources

School Health Services are available, on a contracted basis, for all schools in Benton County.

Temporary Medicaid cards can be issued for outpatient prenatal care for eligible women. A financial screening is completed and Benton County Health Department office issues a card that is valid for 30 days is issued.

Voter Registration is available through the health department.
